Lawrie Ferguson, B.Com., ICD.D, is an experienced corporate director and former senior executive with more than 14 years of governance experience and over 15 years of executive leadership in regulated financial services and complex social-purpose organizations.

She recently completed a six-year term as a Board Director at YWCA BC and served as Board Chair from 2023 to 2025. During her tenure, she provided governance leadership for one of British Columbia’s largest multi-service charities, overseeing strategy, financial stewardship, risk management, CEO performance and organizational sustainability. She currently serves on the Board of Canada Scores, a national youth-serving charity providing free after-school programming through soccer, poetry and community service.

Previously, Lawrie served as a director of Prospera Credit Union and held board and committee roles with Rise Asset Development, BGC South Coast BC and Surrey Hospitals Foundation. Lawrie spent 15 years as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Coast Capital Savings Federal Credit Union, where she was a member of the senior executive team and oversaw brand, product, analytics, communications, customer experience and community investment.

A British Columbia resident, she holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Her continuing governance education includes Board Chairing, AI Oversight, Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity and Generative AI for Business.
