Jean-Paul is the Executive Director of FAIR Canada (Foundation for the Advancement of Investor Rights/la fondation canadienne pour l’avancement des droits des investissuers), a national organization dedicated to championing the rights of Canadian investors. Jean-Paul is responsible for advancing FAIR Canada's mission to promote investor protection, strengthen the voice of retail investors in securities regulation, and support sound financial policy across Canada. 

Prior to his role at FAIR Canada, Jean-Paul contributed his expertise globally as a Financial Sector Expert with the World Bank, working on international projects to enhance securities regulatory frameworks and promote adherence to international standards. Earlier in his career, Jean-Paul spent two decades at the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), where he held progressively senior positions spanning policy development, legal counsel, and management. His experience at the OSC included roles within the Office of Domestic and International Affairs, the General Counsel’s Office, Corporate Finance, and Enforcement. 

Jean-Paul is widely recognized for his leadership and commitment to public interest, investor advocacy, and good governance in capital markets.
